MOSCOW, June 23 (RIA Novosti) - Six people were injured when unidentified assailants threw a grenade and fired shots at an apartment in the town of Tyrnyauz in Russia's republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, a police source said on Monday.
The attack, in which three police officers, a drug enforcement official and two civilians were wounded, occurred overnight Sunday.
According to preliminary information, the attackers first threw a grenade through the apartment window and then fired shots at the building with assault rifles.
