MOSCOW, June 25 (RIA Novosti) - One person was hospitalized after three subway cars derailed in northern Moscow, an emergencies services source said on Wednesday.
"Out of those evacuated from the metro, more than 10 people requested medical assistance, one was hospitalized, and the rest received treatment at the scene," the source said, adding that all the injuries were not directly linked to the derailment, but were existing conditions which had been aggravated by the incident.
However, Moscow health officials said they had no information on those injured in the subway accident.
The chief spokesman for the Moscow subway said train services would be fully restored by Thursday morning.
