MOSCOW, September 4 (RIA Novosti) - Five people have been killed in a car accident in central Russia's Voronezh Region, a police source said.
The accident occurred late on Wednesday on the Don federal highway, linking central and southern Russia. The highway is considered to be one of Russia's most outdated and dangerous roads.
"The driver of a Lada car lost control, and the vehicle overturned and rolled into a ditch," the source said. "He and his four passengers died immediately."
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
