NOVOSIBIRSK, September 23 (RIA Novosti) - An intestinal infection has hospitalized a total of 29 cadets from a military school in the city of Minusinsk in East Siberia's Krasnoyarsk Territory, a source in the regional consumers rights watchdog said on Tuesday.
The exact type of infection and its source is currently being established, although it is believed to have been caused by out-of-date food.
The age of the infected cadets ranges between 10 and 16.
Russian media earlier reported that 20 people had been hospitalized.
In late August, around 50 people were hospitalized in the Rostov Region in south Russia following an outbreak of food poisoning.
