Compared with October, industrial output contracted 10.8%, the State Statistics Service said.
Russia's Economic Development Ministry has already lowered its forecast of the country's industrial output growth in 2008 from 4.7% to 1.9%.
Russia's crude production (including gas condensate) contracted 0.7%, year-on-year, in January-November to 446 million metric tons (3.3 billion barrels) while gas production expanded 2.5% to 606 billion cubic meters, the State Statistics Service said.
Ferrous metals output declined 1.7%, year-on-year, in January-November to 53.4 million tons, the production of mineral fertilizer was down 2.9% to 15.3 million metric tons, the State Statistics Service said.
Electricity generation in the reporting period grew 2.9% to 939 billion kW/h, heat power production declined 1.6% to 1.198 billion Gcal.
The production of cars expanded 16.5% in the reporting period to 1.4 million automobiles, the State Statistics Service said.
