Minibus crash kills 5, injures 3 in Russian Caspian Sea region

ROSTOV-ON-DON, December 29 (RIA Novosti) - Five people were killed and another three injured on Monday in a road accident in Kalmykia, a republic on Russia's Caspian coast, a local emergencies spokesman said.
Two GAZelle minibuses collided at 9:30 a.m. Moscow time (06:30 GMT) 40 km outside the town of Yashkul.
Police, medics and emergency workers have been summoned to the scene.
