MOSCOW, February 24 (RIA Novosti) - Four Kyrgyz nationals have been attacked in central Moscow, a police source said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred late on Sunday. The victims were hospitalized with various injuries after being set upon by a group of five people in what police believe was a race-hate attack.
Attacks on foreigners and ethnic minorities are a regular occurrence in Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as other Russian cities.
Russia's Interior Ministry has warned that Russia could see a rise in crimes against foreigners and migrant workers amid the worsening economic situation in the country.
