Four killed in fuel tank explosion in S. Russia

ROSTOV-ON-DON / STAVROPOL, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - Four people were killed and three injured when a tank containing diesel fuel exploded in Russia's southern Stavropol Territory on Monday, a local emergencies service said.
The blast occurred during welding works at a gas filling station at approximately 11:25 Moscow time (08:25 GMT). The subsequent blaze was extinguished an hour later.
The injured were taken to a local hospital, and are reported to be in serious condition.
