Patrol officer wounded in drive-by shooting in S.Russia

ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 13 (RIA Novosti) - A policeman was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Russia's southern republic of Ingushetia on Friday, a police spokesman said.
The incident occurred at 7:00 pm (16:00 GMT) in the village of Ekazhevo when Tamerlan Khashagulgov, aged 22, was on patrol in his vehicle, the spokesman told RIA Novosti.
The hospital where he is being treated has not given information on his condition.
The search for the gunman is continuing.
