MAKHACHKALA, April 7 (RIA Novosti) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will start a two-day visit to Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Daghestan later on Tuesday, a spokesman for the republic's president said.
"The Palestinian National Authority delegation will arrive in Makhachkala at approximately 17:00 Moscow time on Tuesday [13:00 GMT]," he said.
"The delegation comprises ten people, including Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Executive Committee Yasser Abd Rabbo and Palestinian Minister of Social Affairs and Agriculture Mahmoud Al-Habash," the spokesman added.
Shortly after his arrival, Abbas will meet with the president of Daghestan, Mukhu Aliyev.
Abbas arrived in Moscow on April 5. He met Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin earlier on Tuesday.
