Three dead in police vehicle crash in Chechnya

MOSCOW, April 25 (RIA Novosti) - Three people died and one person was injured when two police vehicles were involved in a crash in Russia's republic of Chechnya, a police source said on Saturday.
The accident occurred on a highway on the outskirts of the capital Grozny on Friday night, the source said.
"Two Zhiguli police vehicles were involved in a head-on crash," he said, adding that a police officer and his two passengers were killed instantly.
The driver of the other police vehicle has been hospitalized.
An investigation is being conducted to establish the cause of the fatal crash.
