KRASNOYARSK, May 4 (RIA Novosti) - A woman and three children died in a fire in East Siberia, a spokesman for the regional emergencies service said on Monday.

The blaze broke out in a wooden house in the village of Arga on Sunday. When firefighting units arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames.

"The 29-year-old owner of the house and three children, an 8-year-old girl and boys aged 4 and 5, died in the blaze," the spokesman said.

He added that the blaze was caused by a short circuit.
