MOSCOW, May 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina will meet with EU trade commissioner Catherine Ashton on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg forum in early June, Russia's EU envoy said on Monday.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held on June 4-6.
Vladimir Chizhov said such events give Russia and the European Union an opportunity to discuss trade and economic cooperation in detail.
"It [the forum] is a convenient venue to discuss Russia-EU relations," Chizhov said.
The forum will be devoted to urgent issues of global development. It will be divided into two parts, covering economic and financial topics, and involve more than 2,000 participants.
