MOSCOW, May 24 (RIA Novosti) - A passenger plane flying from Perm in the Urals to Antalya in Turkey was forced to make an emergency landing in south Russia due to problems with the fuel system, the emergencies ministry said Sunday.
A Tu-204 aircraft made an emergency landing in Krasnodar airport at 10:55 a.m. Moscow time (6:55 GMT) on Sunday, the ministry said.
"There were 206 passengers and 11 crewmembers aboard the plane. No one suffered in the incident," said Darya Soroka, a spokeswoman for the regional emergencies service.
All the passengers are currently staying at the airport. The issue of their flight aboard another plane is currently being resolved, Soroka said.
A source at the Krasnodar airport said that the passenger plane belongs to the Moscow-based airline Red Wings.
On April 25, a passenger plane owned by the same airline made an emergency landing at the Black Sea resort of Sochi. The plane, which was flying from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt, landed in Sochi due to an engine failure, Russian flight safety authorities said.
