ROSTOV-ON-DON, June 17 (RIA Novosti) - One militant has been killed and another five detained in a counter terrorist operation that started on June 13 in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia, the Federal Security Service said Wednesday.

"During the operation on June 15, Interior Ministry and FSB officers engaged in a clash with militants. One militant was killed, and one serviceman also died," a spokesman said.

In a separate incident, five militants were detained, and weapons and ammunition were found on them.
