Russia's Progress M-67 cargo spacecraft successfully docked on Wednesday with the International Space Station (ISS), Russian Mission Control said.

MISSION CONTROL (Moscow Region), July 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Progress M-67 cargo spacecraft successfully docked on Wednesday with the International Space Station (ISS), Russian Mission Control said.

A Russian Soyuz-U rocket with the freighter lifted off on Friday from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan.

The Progress took five days instead of the usual two to reach the ISS because of a delay in the arrival of U.S. space shuttle Endeavour to the orbiter.

Endeavour, which arrived at the ISS on July 17, undocked from the station on July 28.

The Russian freighter has delivered 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, including fuel, water, and various equipment.
