YEKATERINBURG, August 24 (RIA Novosti) - The death toll in a fire at a north Siberian oil depository has risen to four, with four more people injured, a ministry spokesman said on Monday.
Three people died while fighting the blaze. The fourth died on Monday in hospital.
The fire at the Konda facility in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area started on Saturday when lightening struck an oil reservoir containing 20,000 cubic meters of oil, then spread to two other reservoirs.
"The fire was extinguished at 2:10 p.m. [GMT 08:10]," the spokesman said.
