VORONEZH, September 23 (RIA Novosti) - At least 11 people are injured following an explosion on Wednesday in a pyrotechnics warehouse in the southwest Russian city of Voronezh, the local emergency service said.
The blast and ongoing fire have caused the one-story building to collapse.
The spokesman said that all those injured are the residents of a five-story residential apartment building located 30 meters (some 100 feet) from the warehouse.
The injuries were caused by glass shards from the windows shattered by the explosion.
"Warehouse personnel were not hurt, as all of them had been evacuated before firefighters arrived at the scene," he said.
