MOSCOW, October 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will meet on Friday with acting Moldovan President Mihai Ghimpu and hold a three-party meeting with the Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders in Moldova's capital.
Bilateral talks with Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko are not yet on the Russian leader's agenda for Chisinau, Medvedev's spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said earlier.
The presidents will arrive in Chisinau for a summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a loose association of former Soviet republics excluding the Baltic States. Talks will focus on joint efforts to overcome the consequences of the global financial crisis.
