GROZNY, October 9 (RIA Novosti) - Five police officers were injured by a bomb blast on Friday evening in the capital of Chechnya, a local investigator said.
The explosion occurred outside a market in Grozny.
"According to preliminary information, five police officers are injured. All of them work at the Staropromyslovsky District police department... So far we have no information on fatalities," the source told RIA Novosti.
During the incident, militants also attacked a patrol car with a grenade launcher, a police source said.
