Bus hits truck in south Russia, killing six

MAKHACHKALA, November 14 (RIA Novosti) - At least six people died on Saturday and several others were injured when a bus collided with a truck in the south Russian republic of Dagestan, local police said.
"On Saturday morning, an Ikarus bus crashed into a Kamaz truck on the Makhachkala-Sulak highway; the bus burst into flames," a spokesman told RIA Novosti.
A local traffic official said the crash occurred in the province's Babayurtovsky district, near the village of Lvovskoye. Rescuers and firefighters are working at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, the official said.
