MOSCOW, November 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is planning to expand its presence on arms and state security equipment markets in Europe by taking part in the Milipol Paris 2009 tradeshow, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation has said.
The 25th Milipol Paris international exhibition of internal state security products and services is held on November 17-20 at Parc d'Expositions in Paris.
"The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation is hoping that the participation of the Russian companies in the Milipol Paris 2009 will allow them to expand cooperation and business contacts with foreign partners, primarily with European countries," the government body said in a statement on Monday.
Russia is represented at the show by 10 defense companies and organizations, including state arms exporter Rosoboronexport and the Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) corporation.
