Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will pay a working visit to Italy on the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on December 3, the Kremlin said.
The Russian president and Italian premier will hold a sixth round of broad intergovernmental consultations at the highest level.
The Russian State Technology Corporation and Italy's Fiat automakers are setting up a joint venture to assemble agricultural and construction equipment at a production site of Russian truck maker Kamaz in the republic of Tatarstan in line with an agreement signed on October 8 in Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's presence.
The cooperation of Russian companies with the Italian concern Finmeccanica includes projects involving Superjet 100, cellular communications, transportation projects and the modernization of Russian railroads.
