A fire ripped through a crowded nightclub in the Urals city of Perm during the night, killing over a hundred people and injuring more than 130.
The blaze occurred during an indoor firework show. The venue was almost completely destroyed fire, which spread over an area of 400 square meters.
The emergencies ministry said 102 have died, but media reports say up to 112 people were killed.
A spokesman for Russia's health ministry said on Saturday that 134 people were taken to hospital following the blaze.
"134 people are in hospitals, 79 of them in a serious condition," the source said.
Police are looking into several possible causes of the cafe blast, but bomb experts of the local Federal Security Service (FSB) department found no traces of explosive devices.
Most of the injured suffered from inhalation burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.
The region's health minister, Dmitry Trishkin, said local hospitals have enough blood and plasma for transfusion to last at least 24 hours.
