A group of armed men attacked cash couriers on Wednesday morning outside a bank in the south Russian republic of Ingushetia, and made off with 40 million rubles ($1.3 mln).
A local Interior Ministry spokesman told RIA Novosti that the attackers opened fire on the bank in the city of Nazran, and a bullet grazed the bank manager, Adam Archakov.
Russian media said the gunmen were dressed in army uniforms.
After the robbery outside the Esidbank branch, they fled in a Lada car.
"Police have the number of the vehicle, and the search is ongoing", the spokesman said.
