A driver fled the scene, leaving two injured female teenagers in a car, after it crashed into a shop near Russia's West Siberian city of Tomsk in the early hours of Monday, a local road police spokesman said.
"The accident took place at 04:50 a.m. local time [22:50 GMT, Sunday]. A Honda car crashed into a building on the Tomsk-Bogashevo highway," the spokesman said, adding two 15-year-old passengers of the car were injured as the result.
"The driver fled the scene. The girls were admitted to hospital with serious fractures," he said.
An investigation is underway.
