Medvedev to hold talks with Abkhaz, Swedish leaders, make number of foreign visits

In the upcoming months, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is likely to hold talks with Abkhaz President Sergei Bagapsh, Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, and visit France, Canada and Slovakia.
Presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko told journalists Moscow hopes Abkhaz leader Sergei Bagapsh will visit Russia soon after his inauguration in February.
Prikhodko did not rule out Medvedev's visiting the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Canada.
"Work continues on preparing a visit to France in early March. Preparation is also underway for a visit in the first half of March by the Swedish premier," he said, adding that Medvedev was also invited to Slovakia to attend WWII victory celebrations.
