The first bomb to explode on Wednesday in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan could have had a force of up to 200 kg of TNT, a Russian investigator said.
"According to preliminary data, the power of the bomb was equivalent to about 200 kg of TNT. The blast left a crater 5 meters in diameter and 1.5 meters in depth," the source said.
The death toll from the explosions in the town of Kizlyar on Wednesday morning currently stands at 12, while 29 people have been hospitalized.
