In line with the draft budget, Moscow will receive 1.19 trillion rubles ($38.86 billion) in revenues in 2011, while expenditures are expected to stand at 1.29 ($42.15 billion).
In 2010, Moscow's budget deficit is expected to amount to 190.2 billion rubles ($6.2 billion).
The Moscow authorities are planning to spend about 591.5 billion rubles ($19.28 billion) on the social sector, including almost 248 billion rubles ($8.08 billion) on social workers' salaries.
The salaries are planned to be raised twice during the next year: by 3 percent starting January and by 5 percent starting September, the finance department said.
