Putin fields 88 questions in 4.5 hours

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin answered 88 questions during his annual live Q&A session, which lasted for more than four and a half hours on Thursday.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin answered 88 questions during his annual live Q&A session, which lasted for more than four and a half hours on Thursday.

The tenth call-in show started at 12:00 Moscow time (8:00 GMT) and ended at 16:32 Moscow time (12:32 GMT). The same session in 2010 lasted for four hours and 26 minutes.

According to anchors of the call-in show, Russians are most concerned about the problems of social services and social protection. The second most popular issue was housing and public utilities, and the third most popular issue was about jobs and salaries.

Putin was also asked personal questions: what he wants, where he will celebrate the New Year, how he defines happiness and what he believes his negative character traits to be.
