The leaders of the For Fair Elections movement plan to organize another big demonstration in Moscow on February 4 or 5, Solidarity leader Boris Nemtsov told RIA Novosti.
"We plan to hold a march and demonstration on February 4 or 5. We haven't settled on the date yet," Nemtsov said. The proposed march route will be "along the Garden Ring, Tverskaya and Manezh to Lubyanka [Square]," he said.
February 5, a Sunday, would be preferable, "since there is less traffic; it will be more convenient for Muscovites," he said.
The request to hold the march and demonstration will be submitted in late January. So far the details of the event have not been discussed with the city.
"We will be negotiating with city hall," Nemtsov said.
For Fair Elections organized massive demonstrations in Moscow on December 10 and 24. They followed an unsanctioned demonstration on December 5, the day after disputed parliamentary elections, that saw thousands of protesters attempt to march to Lubyanka and resulted in hundreds of arrests.
