MOSCOW, January 12 (RIA Novosti)
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Thursday denied reports by some media that critical comments, including those calling on Putin to resign, were being removed from the site.
Asked whether the media claims were true, Peskov said: “No.”
Putin’s election website http://www.putin2012.ru started operating on Thursday. Critics said negative comments disappeared from the site.
Russia will hold presidential elections on March 4, 2012. Putin, who held the presidential post in 2000-2008, is generally considered a shoo-in for a new presidential term this year.

- ArmenianPutin the Great02:27, 13/01/2012Mr. Putin is one of the greatest political figures in modern world history. He is coming back to the Kremlin at a very crucial time in world history and it's not is not a moment too soon. The next several years will see the Western alliance get more and more aggressive around the world. The world desperately needs a leader like Putin. Mother Russia may be the only cure against the corrosive/destructive effects of American imperialism and Western Globalism.
