Residential Building Briefly Catches Fire in Downtown Moscow

MOSCOW, May 2 (RIA Novosti)
No one was reported injured as the roof of a seven-story residential building briefly caught fire in downtown Moscow, a law enforcement spokesman said on Wednesday.
Twenty-five firefighting crews were dispatched to the site in the Russian capital’s Lyalin Lane. Seven buses were also sent there to accommodate the building’s residents who were evacuated.
The report on the fire was received at 02:51 a.m. and the flame was extinguished at 04:10 Moscow Time [00:10 GMT] on Wednesday, the spokesman said.
