Two Dead as Train, Car Collide in Moscow Region

MOSCOW, February 15 (RIA Novosti) - Two people were killed as a train collided with a car in the south of the Moscow Region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry has reported.
“Two people died as a result of the accident in the Stupino District,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
A commuter train bound from Moscow to the town of Stupino smashed into a VAZ-2106 sedan on the Don M4 highway on Thursday evening.
“The driver and the passenger of the sedan died of injuries on the site,” a traffic police spokesman said.
An investigation is underway.
