Russia's Berestov grabs gold at Europe Weightlifting Championship

MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russian weightlifter Dmitry Berestov won the gold medal at the 2008 European Weightlifting Championship in Lignano, Italy, on Sunday.

Berestov won the competition in the men's 105 kg category with a total of 410 kg. Silver went to Ramunas Vysniauskas, Lithuania (405 kg) and bronze to Robert Dolega, Poland (395 kg).
