MOSCOW, July 1(RIA Novosti) - Russia's Yekaterina Makarova and her Tunisian partner won in straight sets in the women's doubles to go through to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.
Markarova and Selima Sfar beat the number nine seeds and former Wimbledon and Australian Open double champions, Yan Zi and Zheng Jie, from China 7-5, 6-4. The pair will now face Australia's Samantha Stosur and America's Lisa Raymond (16) in the quarters.
