Russian Elena Dementieva beat Lucie Safarova from the Czech Republic 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 in the Paris Indoors WTA tournament final on Sunday.
The match between world number seven Dementieva, 28, and 23-year-old Safarova, world number 46, lasted 2 hours and 17 minutes.
Last year Dementieva reached the final in Paris but lost to France's Amelie Mauresmo.
