Italian alpine skier Giuliano Razzoli brought his country its first Vancouver Olympics gold medal after winning in men's slalom.
Croatia's Ivica Kostelic won the silver after the race at the Whistler Creekside and Sweden's Andre Myhrer brought his country the bronze medal.
With only one day remaining of the Olympics in Canada, Italy won 1 gold 1 silver and 3 bronze medals, comparing with 5 golds at the 2006 Winter Olympics in their home country.
