An injury time goal by CSKA Moscow's Japanese striker Keisuke Honda gave the former Red Army side all three points against Amkar Perm in the opening game of the 2010 Russia season.

The three-time Russian champions looked to have to settle for a goalless draw in front of their home fans on Friday evening until Honda, who signed in the summer from Dutch side VVV-Venlo, popped up with seconds remaining to steer the ball into the Urals club's net.

The opening weekend of the new season continues on Saturday, with Krilya Sovetov hosting Zenit St. Petersburg, in what will be the first competitive game in Russia for the visitor's new Italian coach, Luciano Spalletti.

Dagestan's Anzhi, back in the top division for the first time since 2002, welcome fellow North Caucasus side Spartak Nalchik, while Rostov are at home against Tom Tomsk, who almost went to the wall last season.

Sunday's games see champions Rubin take on Lokomotiv Moscow in Kazan and Spartak Moscow host Dynamo in a cross-town derby.

Newly-promoted Sibir, from west Siberia's Novosibirsk, kick off their campaign with a home match against Chechnya's Terek Grozny, while Alaniya Vladikavkaz, promoted to the elite after FC Moskva folded, welcome Moscow Region side Saturn.
