The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics will see an unprecedented use of high technology, Russian Olympic Committee president Alexander Zhukov said on Friday.
"We want to increase the use of high technology at the Olympics in Sochi. One of the aims of our preparations for the Games is to surprise the world with numerous innovations in the holding of the competition and in everything related to the Olympics. I hope we will manage to do this", Zhukov said at the Russia Is A Sport Power forum.
The international forum began in Moscow on Thursday and will last until Sunday.
The forum comes on the 30th anniversary of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
