Nizhny Novgorod basketball club is prepared to sell American point guard J.R. Bremer if the price is right, general manager Sergei Panov told RIA Novosti on Monday.

Bremer was born in the U.S. but plays internationally for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is widely regarded as one of the best point guards in European basketball. Panov said Italian team Olimpia Milano had enquired as to the player's availability.

“We don’t want to lose the player at the sharp end of the season,” Panov said. “It would be hard for us to find a replacement, but if the offer is attractive, then we can talk to Milano. But no concrete offers have been received."

Nizhny Novgorod is struggling in the domestic Professional Basketball League, bottom of the 10-team division with one win in 10 games, and last in its Eurochallenge group with two defeats in two.
