MOSCOW, July 30 (RIA Novosti)
AZ Alkmaar and Sweden midfielder Rasmus Elm has joined CSKA Moscow on a three-year deal with an option for a further year, the club said Monday.
Elm has earned 26 caps for Sweden and played for his country at Euro 2012.
Elm, 24, started his career with Kalmar in 2005 before joining AZ in 2009, and has since made 84 appearances for the Dutch side.
CSKA will play in next season's Europa League after finishing third in the Russian Premier League last season.
The Moscow side suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to Amkar Perm in the league on Saturday, and host reigning champions Zenit St. Petersburg in their next game Saturday.
