China’s Wu Minxia was streets ahead of the competition as she took gold in the women’s three meter springboard diving Sunday.

Wu’s score of 414.00 was 34.80 points ahead of her nearest rival, compatriot He Zi, while bronze medal-winner Laura Sanchez Soto of Mexico was 11.80 points further back.

Wu’s final dive, a back two-and-a-half somersault with pike, was also the best in the competition, scoring 85.50 points.
