MOSCOW, November 13 (R-Sport) – Former St. Louis Blues forward Timofei Shishkanov and defenseman Kirill Tulupov have signed contracts with Amur Khabarovsk, the KHL team said Tuesday.

Both players penned agreements till the end of the season.

Shishkanov, 29, joins the league's easternmost team from second-tier THK Tver, where he has been playing since Atlant Moscow Region released him in August.

The left wing made 26 NHL appearances, scoring five points for the Nashville Predators and the Blues before returning to Russia in 2006 where he played for seven different teams.

The 24-year-old Tulupov, meanwhile, joined the Amur as a free agent after being released by Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on November 2.

Tulupov was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 2006 but has never made a single appearance in the NHL.

Amur stands 11th in the Eastern Conference with eight wins in 25 games and plays Metallurg Novokuznetsk next on Thursday.
