MOSCOW, December 20 (R-Sport) – Ex-Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Soslan Dzhanaev has signed for Alania Vladikavkaz, coach Valery Gazzaev told R-Sport on Thursday.
The contract of the 25 year old with Spartak expires at the end of the year, and he will start 2013 in his hometown at the Caucasus republic of North Ossetia.
“We have signed a contract with Dzhanaev,” Gazzaev said. There were no details.
Dzhanaev debuted in the Russian top division in 2009, but couldn’t gain a foothold in Spartak’s main team and spent over two years on loan with Terek Grozny.
He made his last Premier League appearance in May in the final round of last season.
Alania is second from bottom on a 14-match winless streak.
