Two elephants died in Zambia after coming into contact with a live power line, regional media reported on Monday.
The two male elephants died after bumping into a low-hanging 33 kilo voltage power line. The incident took place in southern Zambia's Itezhi-tezhi district.
Zambia Wildlife Authority specialists disposed of the carcasses by distributing the meat to local communities.
