Gunmen stormed the Chechen parliament on Tuesday, October 19. The regional department of Russia’s Investigative Committee reported that three people were killed in the attack – two policemen guarding the building and a parliament employee. At least 17 people, including 11 law-enforcement officers, were wounded.

Chechen parliament attack
At least two people died on Tuesday morning when militants launched an attack on the parliament of Russia’s North Caucasus republic of Chechnya. This is the second serious terrorist incident in Chechnya in recent months. In August, a suicide squad launched a massive attack on Kadyrov’s home village of Tsentroi.
