Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities were hit by a wave of violent ethnic clashes following the death of a football fan in a brawl with migrants from Russia's North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. President Dmitry Medvedev said all the displays of interethnic and religious hate must be suppressed.
