Energy Talks EU – Russia 2009: gas dispute and transit projects

Moscow is improving its chances to implement the Nord Stream and South Stream projects without using the threat of redirecting gas to China.

“We want Iranians gas to be made available for Europe through Nabucco when requirements are met. We think it is possible that one day Russian gas will be sold to European consumers through Nabucco. Actually it is possible even for Qatar to take part in the project” the Tirkish Prime Minister added.
