Battle of Poltava: 300th anniversary exhibition opens in Moscow
An exhibition at Moscow’s State Historical Museum features hundreds of rare exhibits providing an insight into the Battle of Poltava of June 27, 1709, when the Russian army defeated Swedish forces. The ambassadors of Sweden and Ukraine attended the official opening.
